Custom Design: Anderson Turns 1!

I love photo invitations for children's birthdays. At a time in their lives when you probably take the most photos, why not use one to add a little personality to the invitation. So I was only too happy to design one using the photo of the cutest little boy in the world! If I sound biased, it's because I am. This cute kiddo is my nephew, Anderson.

This weekend is his first birthday party and while we are just having a little brunch for friends and family, we couldn't do without the perfect little invitation.

My sister wanted an elephant and the photo, of course, and that's all the restrictions I had. I just played with some cute fonts and fun colors. My favorite is the blue gingham backer. I think it's the perfect touch for a little boy's invitation.

Custom Design: Red Wagon Party Invitations

I created these red wagon birthday party invitations a couple of weeks ago for little Henry's 1st birthday party. They might look familiar, because they inspired the photo invitation that I submitted into a recent Minted challenge. Such a cute theme!

Custom Design: Pajamas and Pancakes Birthday Invitation

More custom designs! I am finally getting some of my work photographed... so lots of custom design goodies on the docket for you! Today, it's Reid's Pajamas and Pancakes birthday invitations.

How cute is this party theme?! Courtney snapped some photos of her son, Reid, in his pajamas, enjoying a little pancake breakfast to use for the invitation. It doesn't get much cuter than this people!

Not to compete with the photo, I left the invitation portion simple with little spatulas and designed the back to match his pajama pants. Courtney came up with all the wording, which was so fun: 'flipping up some fun', 'Reid's pancake house', and 'should we save you a stack?'. Cuteness overload! Happy Birthday little man!

County Fair Themed Birthday Invitations

I recently designed these custom invitations for a county fair themed birthday party. I was asked to incorporate a ferris wheel and gingham.  I used a subtle gingham as the background and then used some bold red gingham for the envelope liners. We used kraft envelopes and I just loved how they turned out. It all tied together perfectly. Happy Birthday to Stella!
