Real (Minted) Wedding: Kelly + Andrew

While I get to work one-on-one with a lot of brides, I sometimes forget that there are so many more couples using my designs - all the couples that order their invitations through from Minted!

I never know much more than the city they are ordering from, so I consider myself extra lucky when get a peek at their big day. This wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty and Minted's blog, Julep and I really loved seeing the invitations and how her classic style was carried throughout the day. I mean… stripes! Now this is a girl after my own heart!

Real Wedding: Tiffney and Richard's California Wedding

Tiffney and Richard's wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty California this week, and it seriously is one of the most beautiful weddings ever. The venue, the bride, the bridesmaids' dresses - every detail was so thought out and absolutely gorgeous. I feel honored to have played a small part in their big day.

Real Wedding: Jessica and Ben's Chicago Wedding

Jessica and Ben's wedding was featured on Elizabeth Ann Designs last week and their day was truly classic and elegant.  They were married at the Saint James Chapel, with the reception at the Drake Hotel in Chicago.

Their invitations made a little bit of a peek, but they were really classic in black and gold foil with gold foil deco liners with this gorgeous paper.

I love all the gold accents, but my favorite detail was their cake. Gorgeous!

Featured: Laurie & Dan's Brooklyn Garden Wedding on Style Me Pretty

Today is dreary and cold, and this beautiful garden wedding by Ava Weddings just warms me up and really has me excited for spring. Laurie and Dan were married in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens in what I can only describe as a floral wonderland and the wedding is being featured on Style Me Pretty today!

Laurie used the Isabel design for her save the dates, invitations and the programs, but love how she mixed up the colors to cover her gorgeous color pallete of purples, greys and greens.

Beyond the flowers, the thing that caught my eye the most was her gorgeous, but untraditional gray gown. It was so unique and different, but really fit the outdoor wedding vibe.

Wow, Laurie was such a beautiful bride!

The reception was held in a gorgeous greenhouse-esque building called the Palm House. At night, the lighting was so beautiful! What a great venue.

Real Wedding: Jenny + Mikey

The way it usually goes for a stationer is, at the very best, I am shipping programs and menus off a few weeks (or days, yikes!) before the wedding. But, if they don't order any day-of paper items from me, by the time their wedding is actually here, I have moved on to brides that are getting married months down the road. Their invitations are moved into the 'complete' brides folder, into sample drawers, and I think of them fondly. And I ALWAYS wonder what their wedding day looked like…

But then…. if I'm lucky, a bride pops back in to share their photos or some awesome vendor submits them to wedding blogs… or, I google myself and find a wedding that I've been credited in on a blog. (it sounds silly, but this has happened many times!) As a lover of weddings and the sweet brides that I work with, it seriously makes me so happy to see the happy couple on their beautiful wedding day. I have been updating my 'Real Weddings' portfolio on my Facebook page, and wow, I must say, I work with some gorgeous brides with amazing style.

Jenny is no exception! Jenny and Mikey's wedding was one of the 'I googled myself' variety, and I am so glad I did, because WOW. Her wedding was featured on The Pretty Blog, and so I reached out to Laura Goldenberger, their amazing photographer, who graciously shared images of their big day.

They were married in Palm Springs at The Cree Estate. Their wedding was all white with with hints of gold - the wedding is really the epitome of timeless elegance.

I love the mismatched bridesmaid's dresses in the pale neutrals. Stunning!!!!
