Meet Boca

Have you forgotten about my invitation inspiration series? I haven't! I am only about half way through my collection and have so many beautiful inspiration boards to share with you! Shall we begin again? First of the new year, is Boca!

Palm Papers Wedding Invitations

The Boca invitation, from the Regal Collection, features simple type with a lovely soft background. Though subtle, the damask background is extremely elegant and chic. Boca was flat printed, but much like my other invitations, was designed to work with letterpress as well.

When it came to inspiration, I again found myself with endless options. Black and white is just so darn elegant and some damask patterns just never go out of style!

Valentine Shoot on Every Last Detail

Lauren of Every Last Detail posted a Valentine's Day shoot today that I designed all the paper details for. She wanted it to inspire her readers to do a little something sweet for their valentines, so all the designs are printables that you can download and use for your own little date night. Holiday Inspiration

Photobucket Minted teamed up with West Elm and came up with great ideas on how to display all the lovely holiday cards that you receive in the mail. They shared them on their blog this week and I couldn't help but show the pretty ideas. I just received my first holiday card in the mail and thought a little holiday decorating inspiration would be fitting for the first day of December.

Catie Ronquillo and I originally worked together on a photoshoot that she put together with Elizabeth of After Yes Weddings. We used mason jars and we couldn't help but submit these photos into the Southern Weddings Mason Jar Challenge along with our Sweet Tea Kits.  It was so fun to see that they were featured this week on their blog as well. mason jar tags mason jar tags

The theme of the photo shoot was 'back to school', but I think the concept can work with a lot of themes, by using straws instead of pencils or other types of candy. Yum!

I teamed up with the sweet and talented, Catie Ronquillo, photographer extraordinaire, to participate in the Southern Weddings Ultimate Challenge: Mason Jars. We could do anything wedding related that involved a mason jar, but the main requirement was that it needed to be southern. Naturally. When I think of southern, I think of sweet tea, so Catie had the great idea to do a 'Sweet Tea Kit' to give as favors. We filled each jar with sugar cubes, tea bags and a lemon and I designed little tags that we tied with yellow and white twine. I loved how they turned out, and today we got the nice surprise of being featured as finalists on the Southern Weddings blog!
